Giving locals a voice in northern development
The annual Developing Northern Australia Conference, hosted by the Association for Sustainability in Business, will be held at the Pullman Cairns International Hotel on 19 and 20 June 2017.
The Centre for Defence Industry Capability (CDIC) is hosting a workshop for businesses that are new to Defence. The workshop will provide you with information and one-on-one advice including working with Defence and possible business opportunities.
AusIndustry will be holding online information sessions to assist applicants interested in applying for the CRC for Developing Northern Australia Project Funding Round.

NT Resources Week sees three major conferences run side-by-side from 14-15 September: the South East Asia Australia Offshore & Onshore Conference (SEAAOC), Mining the Territory and Building the Territory.
The NQLGA represents local governments in Queensland whose area, or part thereof, is north of Latitude 21 - most councils from Isaac to the south, Mount Isa to the west, and Torres Strait Island to the north are members of the association. The 2016 Northern Australia Food Futures Conference will be held in Darwin from 11-13 April, 2016. The goal of the conference is to understand the investment space for agri-developments in northern Australia.
The ABARES Outlook conference is the premier information and networking forum for public and private sector decision makers in the agriculture sector. The 2016 Outlook will be held in Canberra from 1-2 March and will explore the theme ‘Investing in agriculture – growing our future’.
The Committee for economic development of Australia (CEDA) will present this national event on the Australian economy and politics in Townsville on 26 February 2016. CEDA will hold additional events in Brisbane, Perth and Canberra.
